the first thing i have to tell you is that Panic At The Disco is my favourite band and i was waiting to see them live for like two years. so i was already in seventh heaven when i actually read that they are touring through germany again. however, when my friend won a meet&greet four days before the concert, everything was over. i felt totally lucky. really, i can’t describe that huge feeling of happyness. so we met them before the concert, i got my concert chucks signed, we gave them some german chocolate, i took a photo with them and i hugged them all. *still smiles when she thinks about that moment*
now something about the actual concert. the whole “meet&greet-crew” had some awesome places in the crowd because they let us in as one of the first ones. so i was in the second row almost in the middle. the first supporting act was Dúné. I knew a couple of songs and i knew that their lead singer was hot, i think, that was enough to be excited to see them. haha. so when they entered the stage and was like: didn’t i tell you that he is hot?! didn’t i? huh? huh? huuuuh? they really created a great atmosphere. really they were awesome and their songs are great, too.
then Black Gold entered the stage. i didn’t like their music, when i was on their myspace. i was not looking forward to it. and my bad opinion about them got validated after the first thirty seconds of their first song. i think they were as boring as hell. really. awful. whatever.
then (after a horrible long soundcheck) Panic At The Disco came up on stage. they started with “We’re so starving/Nine in the Afternoon”. they were amazing. when i say amazing, i mean amazing. really there was nothing to complain about. they played “Lying…”, “There’s A Good Reason…”, “Time To Dance”, “But It’s Better…”, “That Green Gentleman”, “She’s a Handsome Woman” and a lot more. they made quiet good jokes on stage. i think it was a really good mix of performing and talking to the crowd. really. it was awesome.

i think this was the best concert i’ve been on. (and i’m not saying this because of the fact that i had meet&greet)
